What's up with Bear Lewis?

Jake and I would like to ask you all to keep Bear and our family in your thoughts and prayers. We have learned that Bear may have a condition called Craniosynostosis and we will be meeting with a pediatric Neurosurgeon from Children's Memorial Hospital next week. He will undergo a CT scan to confirm the condition and may have to have a surgery to correct this issue.
We are hoping this can be corrected through non-invasive measures such as chiropractic techniques, but we won't know until he has his CT.
We are scared for him to go through surgery at such a young age, but confident that everything will be fine with our little Bear. He is completely healthy in every other way -- he is growing, thriving and otherwise absolutely perfect. He has almost doubled his birth weight and is weighing in at 15.8lbs :)
We would just like to ask that you keep him in mind and send prayers and positive thoughts his way as we meet with the Neurosurgeon and find out where we go from here.
Thanks so much!
